Enquiries and orders

Our enquiry forms ask for your name, email address, training interest or preferred clothing sizes, and an optional question. Shop enquiries also ask for quantity, pickup or shipping preference, an optional phone number and, for shipping quotes, your city, province or region, postal code and country. They prepare a draft in your email app. You must send that draft yourself before Code Black receives it; completing the form alone does not send an enquiry.

We use the information you send to answer questions, confirm availability and sizes, prepare shipping quotes, and arrange an order or training. If you request shipping, we will need a delivery name and address to fulfil the order, and will share the necessary delivery information with the carrier. Please do not send card numbers, medical details or other sensitive information in these forms or by email.

For enquiries about anyone under 18, a parent or guardian should provide their own contact details. A child’s full name, date of birth and medical history are not needed for an initial website enquiry.

Email, payments and hosting

Enquiries sent to our business Gmail address are handled through Google’s email service and your chosen email provider. Payment links take you to Helcim, where you enter payment information. These website forms do not collect card details. Helcim provides the business with transaction information needed for billing and records.

The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. Service providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may apply.

Links to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and payment pages lead to other services with their own privacy practices.

Cookies and marketing

The website’s own enquiry code does not save your form answers in browser storage or send them to analytics. We have not enabled advertising pixels or Google Analytics in the website’s page code. Hosting and linked services may use cookies or similar technology for their own operation.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. If we offer an optional marketing signup, we will explain what you are signing up for and how to unsubscribe.

Your information and choices

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, ongoing customer service, and applicable record-keeping obligations. We restrict access to information to those who need it for these purposes.

You can email codeblackbjj@gmail.com to request access to or correction of your information, discuss withdrawing consent, or request deletion. We may need to verify your identity. Some information must be retained for legal, accounting or other permitted reasons; we will explain any applicable limits. Withdrawing information needed to arrange an order may prevent us from completing it.
